Image

Are you interested in playing bridge online? The URL is: www.bridgebase.com
Consider forming a group by using Bridge Base, an online platform. Five bridge players (one is a sub) currently play once a week and bridge provides a great way to break up Covid boredom. And better yet, it’s free!
If you need help setting up a group, contact Vicki Oldberg

As soon as we get back to in-person meetings:

    • Third Thursday - Party Bridge: 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
    • Fourth Thursday: 1:30 p.m.
All bridge groups need substitute players, so please let any or all bridge groups know if you are interested in being added to their substitute lists.

Stitch & Chat

Image

We are enjoying learning a lot about different types of stitching projects in Stitch and Chat. Several participants have many years of experience with different forms of stitching and have recommendations for how to do something and where to buy supplies at a reasonable cost.

Come share projects (show and tell is always fun!) or just come to chat about life.

Styling in April

Spring has sprung Color is popping up everywhere. This is the perfect time to add bright colors to your wardrobe. Do you have favorites from last year? Bring them out!

Want something new and looking for inspiration? Well, take a look at some eye-catching, color-popping possibilities that caught my eye when I searched spring-summer fashion for the mature woman. Personally, I think wearing colorful shoes is lots of fun.

Your Styling Team ♥️ Nomi Trapnell, Pat Reed, Leslie Ashmore and Betty Kancler

'Styling' glances back to the 50s and 60s, when Audrey Hepburn was the epitome of glamor. Her movies were enjoyed by millions, and her personal style admired by women all over the world.
If you have 1 minute and 38 seconds, watch this YouTube video showing her timeless rules of style, which still apply today, if you choose.

Have you been wishing you had shoes that were both comfortable enough for walking and attractive enough to receive compliments?
Well, here ya go!!! Something for everyone: https://40plusstyle.com/arch-support-shoes/

Also, I have bought Rothy’s flats and loafers over the years. Comfortable and washable! Take a look: Rothys.com

TGIF

Join in the fun. Meet your fellow club members.

Bring a hearty appetizer or dessert to share, and bring your wine glass and your own bottle of wine to drink. If you possess a name tag of some sort, please wear it. No R.S.V.P.’s are expected. Just come!

If you plan to have such a good time that you might forget to bring your dishes home, a name on the bottom of each would be very helpful to the hostess.

Next TGIF: April 12 at 6:00 pm
hosted by Ricki and Jacob Dayan

Walking - Hiking

Image
Image
Hikes will resume soon!
We usually hike every Monday morning from 9-11 am in a local park.

As in the past, walks/hikes will vary in challenge and be easy to moderate. We will hike 1 to 1.5 hrs. in or nearby Los Altos, Los Altos Hills.

Returning from our 1st Monday February hike at Rancho, we stopped to admire the life style of our porcine friends (second picture).

To join us and get the details, sign up for our email list. Contact Terry Oldberg
